City on a Hill Bible Festival 4: Mark Your Calendar for January 25!

 

We are excited to announce the City on a Hill Bible Festival 4 in the Diocese of Cubao! Save the date: January 25, 2025, the Saturday just before the Sunday of the Word of God.

Time: 1:00 PM

Venue: Diocesan Shrine of Jesus the Divine Word, Christ the King Seminary, E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave, Quezon City, Philippines

This year’s festival is centered on the theme: “That All Be Prophets of Love, Pilgrims of Hope, and Passionate in the Word,” adapted from Numbers 11:29 and in harmony with the Jubilee 2025 focus on Hope.

As in previous years, vicariates will team up for an afternoon filled with fun, faith, and fellowship! Here’s a preview of the exciting activities lined up:

1) Ohel Moed Design Challenge: Step into the story of ancient Israel and recreate the Tent of Meeting (Ohel Moed) from the Book of Numbers. Teams will use creative and cost-effective materials to bring this sacred space to life.

2) Bible Cheering Competition: Feel the energy as vicariate teams cheer for the Word of God with creativity, passion, and enthusiasm in this lively competition.

3) Bible Quiz "Master in the Book of Numbers": Showcase your biblical knowledge in a thrilling quiz focused on the Book of Numbers.

4) Song Interpretation: Be uplifted by moving performances of the Jubilee 2025 official hymn, “Pilgrims of Hope,” as participants bring its message to life through music.

5)  Bible Declamation Contest: Train our young talents to deliver dramatic and expressive presentations of the message of hope from Paul’s Letter to the Romans.
